The Artifact's Lore
Three eyes have taken residence on the surface of this vessel. They did not ask. They arrived already fixed — each one nested in a pale shell cradle, each iris a cold blue-grey that neither focuses nor looks away. The bag beneath them is black and sealed, its silver clasp holding the whole arrangement shut with the finality of something that was never meant to be opened casually. It can be carried by hand or worn across the body. The eyes travel either way.
Lore & Provenance
Catalogued under The Lover's Eye series — a record of objects that have absorbed the act of watching until watching became their primary function. The three shell-mounted faux eye forms do not replicate a single gaze; they distribute it. Whatever stood before this vessel was observed from three angles simultaneously. The archive has not determined whether this is a warning or simply a condition of the object's existence.
Anomalies & Forging
The shell bases are natural forms — their iridescent blush-to-white gradation, surface ridging, and glaze depth will vary across pieces. Each faux eye sculpture is hand-applied; iris placement, shell orientation, and the precise arrangement of the three forms on the bag face will carry minor asymmetries inherent to the forging process. The spiral-wrapped handle is a fixed structural element. The silver twin-ball clasp operates with a firm mechanical press.
Physical Composition
Bag body: Black smooth faux leather, rounded half-moon silhouette
Frame: Silver-toned kiss-lock with twin mirror-polished ball terminals
Handle: Black spiral-wrapped faux leather top handle
Strap: Convertible crossbody strap included
Mounted elements: Three faux eye shell sculptures, glazed ceramic finish, blue-grey iris detailing
Carry mode: Handbag (top handle) / Crossbody (strap)
Containment Protocols
Store upright in a dust bag away from direct light. The glazed shell sculptures are fixed mounts — do not apply lateral pressure to the eye forms. The kiss-lock frame should remain engaged when the vessel is not in use. Avoid prolonged contact with moisture or abrasive surfaces. The spiral handle wrap is a structural element, not a decorative one — handle with the same deliberateness the object itself projects.

The Curator's Archive
Q: Is this appropriate as a gifting relic?
A: For a Collector who operates at the intersection of dark fantasy and wearable curiosity — yes.
Q: Will the eye sculptures look identical to the archive image?
A: The shell bases are natural forms. Iridescence, glaze depth, and the precise orientation of each eye form will carry minor variations inherent to the hand-forging process.
Artifact Preservation
Each relic within our archive is either artisan-forged or meticulously unearthed. The materials bear the natural marks of time, forging, and intentional decay. Micro-texture shifts, asymmetrical forms, and heavy patina are never flaws—they are the vital proof of authenticity that separates these oddities from mass-produced objects. To preserve its essence, avoid harsh chemicals and allow the artifact to age naturally within your personal sanctuary.
Acquisition & Transport
Due to the rare and often singular nature of our curated archive, all acquisitions are handled as final once dispatched.
If an artifact arrives damaged in transit, please contact the Archive within 72 hours of delivery with an unboxing video or clear photographic evidence. Once verified, we will arrange an appropriate resolution.
