The Artifact's Lore

The glaze did not choose its colors. Crimson pooled where the fire held longest; teal bled outward along every raised edge where the heat released first. At the center, a vortex — not decorative, not incidental — holds the geometry of the vessel in a gravitational logic that has no name in any terrestrial record. Whatever civilization pressed this form from clay and flame left no other evidence of its existence. Only this.

Lore & Provenance

Forged at the intersection of fire and an unknown intent, this vessel carries the formal logic of a civilization that did not document itself. The crimson surface reads as cooled lava; the teal edges as the residue of something stellar. The vortex at center is not ornament — it is the only remaining record of whatever force once organized this form.

Anomalies & Forging

No template guided these protrusions, these asymmetric rim cut-outs, these bleeds of teal along every raised edge. The fire moved; the clay resisted; the hand decided. Oxidized crimson meets verdigris teal, an accumulation that cannot be replicated.

Physical Composition & Physical Scale

Material: Sculpted ceramic with high-gloss glazed finish
Body: Crimson-red glazed surface
Accents: Teal-blue metallic-sheen glaze on all raised edges and decorative protrusions
Markings: White matte unglazed decorative pattern on base interior
Dimensions: Approx. 2.8 × 3.5 × 3.5 in (hand-measured, minor variance may occur)
Production: Made to order; 20–30 business days
Shipping: Ships as soon as the piece is complete

Containment Protocols

Display on stable, dry surfaces away from prolonged moisture or open flame. Handle with care — wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. Keep out of reach of young children and household pets. High-gloss glaze seals the surface; it is not waterproof.

The Curator's Archive

Q: Can this be used as a candle holder?
A: The vessel holds small objects, lights, or curiosities. Use only with extreme caution near open flame.

Q: How fragile is it?
A: Like all ceramic works of this scale, it requires mindful, thoughtful handling.

Q: Is this a one-of-a-kind forging?
A: This vessel exists as a single forged instance.

Artifact Preservation

Each relic within our archive is either artisan-forged or meticulously unearthed. The materials bear the natural marks of time, forging, and intentional decay. Micro-texture shifts, asymmetrical forms, and heavy patina are never flaws—they are the vital proof of authenticity that separates these oddities from mass-produced objects. To preserve its essence, avoid harsh chemicals and allow the artifact to age naturally within your personal sanctuary.

Acquisition & Transport

Due to the rare and often singular nature of our curated archive, all acquisitions are handled as final once dispatched.
If an artifact arrives damaged in transit, please contact the Archive within 72 hours of delivery with an unboxing video or clear photographic evidence. Once verified, we will arrange an appropriate resolution.

The Archive's Ethos

Since 2025, Awhisker has evolved from an independent studio into a curated gallery of grotesque collections and unearthed oddities. This archive is dedicated to every curious soul who dares to gaze into the abyss. We do not just sell objects; we curate the macabre, the asymmetrical, and the profound.
