The Artifact's Lore

Something was placed inside the flesh before the flesh was sealed. The oval form sits heavy at the sternum — not as ornament, but as a record of an event that did not conclude cleanly. Pearl accents mark the surface at irregular intervals, each one embedded where a wound might have been closed by something other than a surgeon. The grey-blue iris at the center has not moved since extraction. It does not need to. Whatever it was watching before the suturing, it is still watching now.

Lore & Provenance

Archived under Dark Adornments. A faux visceral ocular form — flesh-toned oval ground, lacerated surface relief, pearl suture markers, grey-blue cataract iris. The wound pattern is not decorative. It is a record of containment.

Anomalies & Forging

Each pendant is hand-sculpted. The laceration relief, blood pooling distribution, and pearl placement vary subtly across individual pieces — the surface topography is an intrinsic variable of the forging process, not a defect. The grey-blue iris retains consistent form; the flesh ground surrounding it does not.

Artifact Preservation

Each relic within our archive is either artisan-forged or meticulously unearthed. The materials bear the natural marks of time, forging, and intentional decay. Micro-texture shifts, asymmetrical forms, and heavy patina are never flaws—they are the vital proof of authenticity that separates these oddities from mass-produced objects. To preserve its essence, avoid harsh chemicals and allow the artifact to age naturally within your personal sanctuary.

Acquisition & Transport

Due to the rare and often singular nature of our curated archive, all acquisitions are handled as final once dispatched.
If an artifact arrives damaged in transit, please contact the Archive within 72 hours of delivery with an unboxing video or clear photographic evidence. Once verified, we will arrange an appropriate resolution.
