The Artifact's Lore
Something has been watching from the center of the chest for longer than the chain has existed. The half-sphere eye rests at the sternum with the weight of an object that arrived already knowing where it belonged. The blood vein detail does not repeat — each piece carries its own internal map, determined before the chain was attached and unchanged since.
