The Artifact's Lore
When the flame goes out, the eye falls dark. What the fire leaves behind, it keeps.
What This Relic Is
The Weeping Conch is a conch shell candle holder built from natural shell, air-dry clay, and resin. A sculpted eye and sealed surface give it the presence of a relic while preserving its use as a vessel. Each piece varies in contour and size with the shell selected, and includes a wax-filling toolkit.
Lore & Provenance
The Weeping Conch belongs to Crime & Punishment, a series devoted to vessels marked by memory, grief, and aftermath. It is not a neutral candle holder. It is a conch shell relic altered into a watchful form: part vessel, part specimen, part visible record.
Anomalies & Forging
Each piece begins with an individually selected natural conch shell. Clay anatomy is sculpted directly onto the shell and sealed with resin to sharpen the eye detail and stabilize the surface. No molds are used. Striping, lip shape, contour, and minor surface irregularities shift from shell to shell, so no two pieces resolve in exactly the same way.

Artifact Preservation
Each relic within our archive is either artisan-forged or meticulously unearthed. The materials bear the natural marks of time, forging, and intentional decay. Micro-texture shifts, asymmetrical forms, and heavy patina are never flaws—they are the vital proof of authenticity that separates these oddities from mass-produced objects. To preserve its essence, avoid harsh chemicals and allow the artifact to age naturally within your personal sanctuary.
Acquisition & Transport
Due to the rare and often singular nature of our curated archive, all acquisitions are handled as final once dispatched.
If an artifact arrives damaged in transit, please contact the Archive within 72 hours of delivery with an unboxing video or clear photographic evidence. Once verified, we will arrange an appropriate resolution.
